Volunteer Board of Directors
Jay Schwarzenbart (Engineering manager, Retired)
President
Years ago, I had an opportunity to do home repair at McKenzie’s Mission for our friend Heidi. It was then I realized the vital role Adult Family Homes provide to their residents. I am now honored to be a part of the Board of Directors and use the servant leadership skills God has provided me as well as home repair skills to serve McKenzie’s’ Mission.

Vice President
Supervisor at Recreation Department
I'm incredibly honored to be a part of this board. I love everything about Mckenzie Mission. This organization believes in providing safe, faith based, and nurturing home for vulnerable adults. This seems like something simple, but unfortunately in today's world this doesn't always happen which makes me sad. Everyone should be able to live their life to the fullest in a safe home. Im so thankful to have gotten connected with amazing people who have come together to make this dream become reality and even bigger. Every time I leave a meeting I feel so happy and excited to see us making progress to make this happen.
I look forward to seeing the mission grow and flourish in the years to come.

I have had the privilege of serving on several local and national nonprofit boards, including Sheboygan Christian School, Calvin Christian Reformed Church (Sheboygan), Bethany Christian Services (Grand Rapids, MI), and the Barnabas Foundation (Crete, IL).
Over the course of ten years, I also made 30 trips to Haiti as a Christian business mentor with Partners Worldwide—an experience that deeply shaped my perspective on service and global community development.
It has been a pleasure to serve as President of McKenzie’s Mission during its start-up phase. There is a significant need for quality Adult Family Homes (AFH) in the Sheboygan area, and I’m honored to be part of a mission that addresses this vital need

Andy Kundinger
I am a proud father to an 11-year-old daughter with disabilities and a dedicated police officer serving the city of Sheboygan. Through both my personal and professional experiences, I’ve seen firsthand the significant lack of resources available in our community for individuals with disabilities—both children and adults. As my family plans for the future, we are committed to being part of the solution.
Our goal is to help develop Adult Family Homes in the Sheboygan area that offer consistent, compassionate, and high-quality care—places we would wholeheartedly trust with our own daughter’s well-being. With this vision, we are working to build a strong network of like-minded individuals who share our passion and commitment. Together, we aim to provide the oversight and direction that every family deserves.

Audra Kundinger
As the devoted mother of an 11-year-old daughter with developmental disabilities, I am profoundly committed to advocating for enhanced services and resources for individuals with unique needs and their families within our community. My entire career as a licensed social worker has been dedicated to serving the special needs population, both children and adults, within Sheboygan County.
McKenzie’s Mission holds a deeply personal significance for me as it provides exceptional care to our most vulnerable population, delivered with love, compassion, and unwavering consistency, all within a nurturing home environment grounded in strong Christian values. My passion for serving on this board stems from my ultimate hopes and dreams for my own daughter’s future long-term care needs. The knowledge that she may one day have the opportunity to live in a setting as thoughtfully constructed as what Heidi Loose brought to fruition, brings immense peace of mind as she one day prepares to step into the real world

Jonalee DeNoble
My daughter, Jovie, who has special needs, ignited my passion for advocacy and inclusion, inspiring me to support others with developmental differences. I’m honored to serve on the board of McKenzie’s Mission, an organization that reflects my faith and values by creating safe spaces filled with love, dignity, and belonging.
Professionally, I’ve built a career in marketing and event planning, finding joy in connecting people and creating opportunities that make a difference. My goal is to help grow awareness for McKenzie’s Mission and continue building a community where every individual is seen, valued, and celebrated.
